I graduated from Graceland University in 2006 with a degree in Studio Art. I've started making art again, which is a wonderful feeling. I was diagnosed with Crohn's disease right after graduation. I mention this because it's a major part of my life, something I have to deal with everyday. I try to focus on the good things that have come from it and not the bad. I try to do that with all situations. I love reading, I do it all the time. I also can't live without music. I have very eclectic taste in music, I listen to pretty much everythign except rap and hip hop. Not that there's anything wrong with that, it just isn't my cup of tea. I listen to select country artists. I'm VERY selective when it comes to country music. I live in Florida along the Gulf Coast and love it! Except from May to November. The Summer is super hot and humid and Jone through November is Hurricane season, which always makes me a little uneasy. But I love the water. I don't look like I live in FL though. I'm extremely pale and don't tan. I go from pale ro bright red in .65 seconds.
I'm very involved in my church, Community of Christ. I used to teach the little kids Sunday School class, but now I just fill in for the Senior High something. I love being in the teenagers class on Wednesday nights. My church is like my extended family. When I add my immediate family to the family I"m closest to at church and my family from college, I have a family of 19. It's wonderful!!
